J Elliott Style is both a retail home goods store and a full-service interior design firm, focusing on elevated living residential projects. Founder and Principal Designer, Jamie Elliott McPherson, is embarking on 25 years in the interior design industry. His design career began as a kitchen designer in Atlanta, GA in 1999. After receiving many requests to take his design expertise from the kitchen to the rest of the home, Jamie began offering whole home interior design services in 2004. His love for creating classic, comfortable, and inspired living spaces brought him to create J.Elliott Style, a boutique home furnishings and kitchen and bath design showroom, located in historic downtown Highlands, NC. Jamie believes, while injecting his fresh and modern approach to design, every project should be personalized for his clients and an authentic representation of who they are.

In addition to interior design services, J.Elliott Style offers handcrafted upholstery, case goods, original local art, curated antiques, unique objets d'art, specialty lighting, luxury bed and bath soft goods, bespoke cabinetry and upscale appliances. And now J. Elliott Style is excited to launch our online retail and interior design services.

Jamie currently lives in Highlands with his husband and business partner Tra, their three puggies Boots, Tux, and Little Man and Lulu, Jamie's late mother's 18 year old (yes, 18 years and counting!) Chow Chow.
